Sorry Jo Jo. Factories depend upon fossil fuels to run their machinery.

“Sorry Jo Jo. Factories depend upon fossil fuels to run their machinery.”

Correct, it has to be an END-TO-END policy, which means cheap and plentiful energy, and it also means accepting that some industries will require workers to get their hands dirty once in a while.

We’re still not there, on either.

Perhaps we are looking at this energy problem all wrong. There are tens of thousands out of work and generators powered by a bicycle pedal system have been around for a long time so let’s put the unemployed to work “pedaling “ electricity. No fossil fuels, nuclear or solar required. All that’s needed are a LOT of bicycles. Better than the gym. I wonder if someone holds a patent?

... and in countries that allow its use.

But hey, wind and solar will work just fine. /sarc
