The age of consent WAS low, and legal consequences for sex (by women) to boys was nil - unless it was a matter of adultery or prostitution, which were separate matters. Normal sex outside of marriage was a sin, not a crime. Girls were another case entirely. This is not justified by any philosopher, but was justified by tradition.

You need to understand tradition, what it is, where it comes from. One cannot be a conservative without it, full stop. Burke is a good start. He explained tradition. He is our ideological grandpa.

You need to know yourself well, to understand what you believe and why you believe it, and where it all fits in the grand scheme of things, else you will just thrash about.

I understand things seem wonderful when read in books, but in practice they are somewhat messy. Our society has established legal standards for sexual interactions between adults and children. Mostly, they are forbidden.

No matter how much you try to sound like Jordan Peterson, for you to contend boys and girls should be treated differently when it comes to having sex with adults is, quite honestly, asinine. There are many things human used to do that we no longer condone. Sex with children is one of them, thankfully.
