Since we've seen some really bad VP choices, both parties, I don't think it matters too much. The key is currently whether it will be Trump or DeSantis for Republicans and Biden, Kennedy, or someone for the Democrats. I do think Kennedy has better chance in a 3-way race over Biden and Newsome.

For VP, we've got quite a number of good governors to chose from.

And I yawn and any Trump vs DeSantis as (1) No one credible is going to jump in while Trump is sucking up all of the news cycles, nor likely until or unless Trump drops out (2) And I do think that Trump and supporters need to STFU about DeSantis as they will need their support if Trump is to get the nomination. Right now it is very disappointing that Trump is destroying the party instead of focusing on folks like McConnell and Dems, etc.

DeSantis could say he's not running but he doesn't.

DeSantis' supporters could not criticize Trump but they do.

Why should Trump and his supports not comment on DeSantis?

Maybe DeSantis should OHFM and say that he's not running.
