Strictly speaking, gender is a grammatical category, it is an attribute of words. In English there are three genders, masculine, feminine, and neuter. Sex is biological category. In the taxonomical class mammalia, there are two sexes, male and female. Homo sapiens is a member of the class. Draw your own conclusions.

What are you a science denier, or a grammar abuser?

Again, nouns in certain languages have genders, and human beings are assigned sexes based on genital configuration. What is the point of your question?
