The guy was probably worth the cost of a single bullet and not 30+ years worth of free lodging. I’m a believer in swift justice. That means it’s over quickly for the perpetrator and the paying public. It’s win/win.
Me too, but better late than never. When they are allowed to hang around facing no justice eventually the progressive bleeding hearts will in effect pardon them by changing the rules. (see: California). This execution while not timely stills sends a strong message.
