I agree, I didn't get it. When I saw the first video of her I had her pegged as a Chardonay drinker or a cosmo girl. At least in the past she apparently did enjoy a cold one.

I don’t get it either. Maybe some people just need to lash out. Doesn’t matter what they’re lashing out at.
The assumption was probably that she thought she was smarter and more sophisticated than the beer-drinking fratboys and here she turns out to have been just as dumb when she was in college. Or it may be that her marketing strategy was so stupid that any opportunity to laugh at her ought to be taken.
