Well, there goes my alma mater circling the drain.
They’re so blessed to have Ben Sasse as the president of Gatorville.
Ok Ben, what are you going to do about it?

Hey Desantis, stay focused on Florida. Still a lot to do here at home.
Hence my tag line for the last three months.
A good start would be to defund all taxpayer funded DEI administer jobs.
We have to burn the village to save it.
A more logical response to Woke universities is to remove all public funding of higher education.
Let market forces decide the market place of ideas.
The best students will go where they best compete.
The DEI will only exist where they can garner contributions from woke billionaires.
Eventually the market for college graduates will discern that Woke universities pump out mediocre graduated who sow hate and division in the work place.
Then these places of higher mid-education will fade in to history.
Thankfully my children graduated before Obama’s marxist army became embedded in the country’s education system. Pre-Obama, UF was relatively conservative and ranked high as one of the best public universities in the country. Sadly, they’ve been targeted for destruction by the left ever since.
I Hope DeSantis handles it better than Youngkin handled his education-indoctrination problems...
My New Tagline
This is somewhat related to the Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and other indexes, e.g. Healthcare Equality Index, etc.
Corporations are chasing high CEI scores.

Unfortunately, seeing this from my alma mater does not surprise me one bit. The Faculty and admins at UF have been decidedly Leftist since at least the 60s. They will go for whatever the latest fad is on the Left.
The Students too lean left like Students everywhere.
The Alumni like myself are VASTLY more conservative than either though given how thoroughly the programming in higher education is now, I don’t know how much longer that will last.
Gov DeSantis and the Republican supermajority in Tally need to purge all the Universities in the state with ruthless abandon.
The whole structure is based on the assumption that whites have a moral obligation to put the welfare of “oppressed and marginalized groups” ahead of the wellbeing of themselves and their own loved ones.
What if we don’t?
What if we decide that the interests of those we love, and those who work to keep civilization going, are what we care about?
