Capy need water, I have encountered them in the states. A few were running around the santa fe river in florida many years ago. They had gotten loose from a pet owner or some other reason, I know a bow hunter killed one, I merely saw a few frolicking and enjoying their day.

That was my first thought, but way outside it’s range (South America).
Head seems wrong for feral hog.
Does not look like javelina to me.
