I know, thanks

I lived through it.

The house should step up with articles of impeachment, state their case before any of the American people that will listen, and then let them vote on it. See who stands with the rule of law, and who just wants to be on the side of their party. That’s exactly what the dems did to Trump. Sure, it didn’t remove Trump because they didn’t have the votes in the Senate, but neither do we. Didn’t stop them from making a show of it. I know, the MSM will totally downplay any impeachment actions and probably wouldn’t even allow coverage, but we shouldn’t care. Those like us, who do care, will find where it IS covered and be watching closely. I’m really tired of Rs always doing the wrong thing right in the face of evil.

Why sit around and do nothing when the still honorable segment of the American people are demanding action? Doing nothing in the face of democrat corruption is sadly, what Rs do all to often.

What I would like to see the House do is use its power of the purse for once. Slash appropriations for 2024, cancel all the unspent Covid appropriations, cut the size of the bureaucracy by 10% across the board, defund completely a number of departments (Education, HUD) send the bills on to the Senate, then adjourn and go home. The Dem Senate will turn it down. McCarthy should tell the Senate and Biden the appropriations bills for 2024 have been passed. The House will consider supplemental appropriations bills after the new budget year begins. If they don’t pass the bills on the table, they will be shutting down the government. Their choice.

It is time to throw down the gauntlet on spending and hang tough. In the past the Republicans have always caved to the POTUS. This time don’t cave. Use the power the Constitution gave the House to actually put a brake on spending.

To me this is a better use of the GOP House Majority than spending time on an impeachment that will fail.
