The first Jurassic Park movie was great on so many levels, great lessons. My favorite line, "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."

Does this apply to AI research and gain of function research. Or what! What we must do with these scamming gov't research funded scientists, is look at them as these wild n crazy guys, out of the old SNL skits with Steve Martin.

OK most of the AI research is privately funded by google Microsoft etc. All the large hi tech players are scrambling after AI now.
