That’s very possible. I’m just thinking from where the Q team told us the derps are good at engineering conflicts with all their assets. AB wasn’t the only company to take on this latest wokeness at the same time, so there is some coordination going on.

The “engineered conflict” aspect is there for all to see. But as an old guy who has lived thru a bunch of this “crowd fashion” kind of behavior I see a bit of a different angle. Yeah/ a few people/companies are leaders in the “wokeness” movement but most are players in the hoola hoop aspect of the trend. Everybody has to have one.

Back in the early 60’s,for example, the “conglomerate” got popular. Every body had to join each other. Didn’t always make bizness sense but they had to do it. One of the very first was “LTV”-—Ling Temco Vogt. The merged then they died.

Very few companies survive the original ownership for long. What I’m seeing is a bunch of second/third generation punks looking for that elixir that will get them to a golden parachute so they can bail also. Going woke gets them into the conversation at the country club. Then they start drifting away from the bizness model that made them successful. I’m watching a number of local companies slowly come apart since the old guys died off and the newbies can’t stand the thot of actual work. It’s practicaly a spectater sport watching it happen.
