Awesome photo! Struck by the view of “low tide”, as in no tide at all. I’ve not ever seen such a view as this.
We get pretty big tides at this latitude. Sea level can vary by 25 feet or more between low and high tides. High tide today at noon will be 16 feet. Low tide this evening at 6:20 will be minus 0.7 feet. Makes for some pretty ripping currents up or down the narrows. "Timing is everything"
