I think this might be the way to reach out to good liberals: admit to them that they were right about Bush, Cheney, the evil that we have done in third world countries, etc. If we start off saying they were right about the wrongs that Republicans/government have done, they may be willing to listen to some of Q’s other points.

I don't think they have the maturity for that. They would just use that info to clobber us some more.

I had dinner yesterday with a baby boomer liberal yesterday, and she was talking like a conspiracy theorist. She now believes the "establishment" that created COVID and all the division among us is just a continuation of the establishment that created the Vietnam war and other intervening wars.
