We always held our own Easter Egg Hunts on our own yard. We never took the kids to one of these organized events.
On bad weather years, my wife would hide the kids’ Easter Baskets in the house and they would have to look high and low for them. It was always great family fun.
I don’t recall ever reading about bad adult behavior in our town.
My parents did the same hid the eggs in our yard and turned us loose outside in the yard!!
