This works both ways. Here in GA many immigants from the north come here because they see that Republican policies work and Democrat policies don’t. Consider, the unemployed in the North leave those Blue states reducing the unemployment rate.

These unemployed mig be expected to pop up on the unemployment rolls. But they don’t They get jobs.

Many are ripe to convert to the R party, the R way. But they are met with hostility and rejection by the Rs, by the FReepers, by the Trump followers, by the non-Trump faction .. all active Rs are united in making converts feel unwelcome.

Consider the case of Trump supporter Vernon Jones who left the party of satan. Here on FR he was attacked. Among both establishment and anti-establishment Republican pros he was made to feel unwelcome. The ordinary Republican voters welcomed him much more than any ativist.

In reality, Vernon Jones had fewer skeletons in the closet than the candidate for Senate supported by both wings of the organized Republicans. But he was squeezed out of the primary and told to go stand in the corner.

(Full disclosure, I voted for King in the primary, the most qualified candidate, although not the most well known.)

We need to be different than the Democrats. Democrat voters are not the enemy. Biden, Warnock, Ossoff, etal are the enemy. When you see a bunch of animals on a hunting trip, don’t shoot the bunny rabbit because he is in the same forest as that 11 point Buck.

Aim Small....miss small.
