We are in a Jacobin Revolution of the sort that in 1793-94 nearly destroyed France. And things are getting scary.
The Democratic Party vanished sometime in 2020.
It was absorbed by hard-left ideologues. They were bent on radically altering, or hijacking, existing institutions to force radical, equality-of-result agendas that otherwise do not earn majority support.
The American people want affordable power and fuel and energy autonomy. They do not want a Green New Deal that results in dependence on the Middle East.
They want fiscal sobriety, not a permanent stagflationary economy marked by bank failures, soaring interest rates, crony capitalism, and subsidies for those who choose not to work.
They know no country can exist without a border, much less while offering blank checks to foreign cartels that kill 100,000 Americans yearly.
They demand realist deterrence abroad, not the current woke military whose erosion is spelling the end American credibility and global stability.
Racialists are eerily embracing discredited Neo-Confederate notions of racial chauvinism, discrimination, segregation, and the old-one-drop rule of racial obsession. They are turning America toward a Balkanized war-of-all-against-all.
To implement such an unpopular program, the new Left must radically alter our institutions.
So the “Democrats” periodically threaten to pack the courts, end the filibuster, destroy the Electoral College, and override the states’ prerogatives to establish balloting laws.
They deny the committee assignments of the House minority leader. They engage in stunts like tearing up the State of the Union address on national television. With impunity they mob the homes of Supreme Court justices to leverage their decisions.
This revolution is run by elites and is a top-down operation.
University deans all but prompt students to disrupt invited campus speakers. District attorneys release violent arrested criminals without bail. Woke generals call their Chinese counterparts to warn them...

The democrats are now close to being a bully tyrannical communist party. You can’t distinguish the democrats from the communists of 50-60 years ago.
Communism does not tolerate different opinions. Democrats do not tolerate different opinions. Communists arrest those that don’t comply with their ways; democrats are exactly the same. Communism indoctrinates kids from k-12 and in colleges/universities. Democrats have been doing the same for over 60 years. Communists have control of the media, thereby making their media companies state-owned/state-controlled. Democrats want the same with American media companies and have succeeded to a large extent with that. Democrats want government control of the economy, just like it is under communism.
IN fact, as we can see now, the democrat party is progressive 100%, and progressive is just another word for communism. Democrats are full communist now. No difference whatsoever.
Fortunately, the U.S. still has opposition against communism, or against the democrat party. There is still hope for the U.S.

As the country collapses under leftist nihilism, the revolution’s last gasp is to destroy Donald Trump—by empowering him. That is, the leftist legal vendetta is designed to win him just enough empathy to be nominated the Republican Party’s presidential candidate, but then to keep on indicting, gagging, and hemorrhaging him legally until Election Day 2024.It sounds like VDH is saying that Trump is the Left's candidate of choice so that by getting him nominated they can then destroy him in the general and win again in 2024.
I don't think that is correct.
Trump is the Left's greatest nightmare. I think Bragg wants to destroy Trump completely...not propel him to the nomination by generating empathy for him.
The problem is, the American people also want someone else to provide that for them. As long as things continue to be easy, they are easily manipulated by the left with promises of more. The American people will not make change, change will be forced onto them, and by that time, they are going to live through some really tough times.
I don't say this to be bombastic, but eventually, that will have to happen here. Who is going to do it is a mystery given that all institutions have been taken over by the American Jacobins. I guess it will have to be done by a citizen army.
Another ploy.. bribing the pubs as well as the dems, so both parties have a vested interest in keeping the status quo and ensuring a uniform hatred of Trump gaining office.
One thing we have on our side that the Christians in 18th century France did not, is we're not dealing with a stain of a control-freak church intertwined with government. It was hard for the true Christians in France to convince people to stick to Jesus and love God and others -- when the church was part of the oppressive government. Christians in the U.S. today don't have that hurdle. We should take advantage of this opportunity to remind people that the anti-Christians are in charge of our ever oppressing government. We should ask people how hedonism is working out for them and their community.
This is too herculean a war to win without the Lord. We have to arm up with God's Spirit more than anything else. And that means playing God's long game (helping win the spiritual war).

If you are saying that we have a functioning, true believing Christian church (collectively) in this country, I think you are (mostly) incorrect.
I think the churches have gone Woke too. And the ones that haven't gone Woke are filled with people who don't want to rock the boat.

Conclusions 1 & 2, however, have little to distinguish between them.
Conclusion 3, the only “good” one, is implausible. It states that the people will see how childish the A. Bragg indictment is and will say “enough already”. Fat chance.
I’ve got a 4th option that might be better: the Lord Himself causes the curtain to be drawn back, like in Wizard of Oz, to reveal the fraudsters: Hillary, Brocko, Comey, Rosenstein, Clapper, Wray, Brennan, Vindman, Schiff, Schumer, Pelosi, Bragg, et al, for who they really are. That would have to be a supernatural act; and it would be a definitive one, too. What are the odds? I don’t know. It depends whether the Lord has finished with America, or not. I pray He will consider it a nation worth saving.
But it may be that, as before the Flood, Sodom, the Babylonian captivity, and 70 AD, He has seen enough.
Remember that the Lord may work with only a Remnant.
