I first had Blanton’s in the 80’s, although I was a scotch guy, it was pretty damn good.

I got a bottle from the source, during Labor Day weekend last year. I’ve since had a couple of drinks from it.

I should’ve gotten two, since my non-whiskey drinking girlfriend was with me. My everyday and mixing bourbon is Woodford Reserve; my special straight bourbon had been Angel’s Envy, up until I cracked open the Blanton’s.
