Depends on your state’s laws. Roughly half of the US states “allow” class 3 firearms. To get one you have to pay a $200 tax stamp, endure an anal probe by the Feds and wait about a year. An M16 goes for around $20K, Uzi for $8K, a Ma Duce for $50K. There was an M134 Minigun on sale earlier in the 2000s for around $100K.
Just more highly regulated and expensive.
Last evyil gun show I went to had a preban Uzi 9mm for $22,000. I am sure he paid a pretty penny for what he shot. If not... He can expect a visit from heavily armed ATF agents very soon.
