I read that 2 out of 10 animals die instantly from the shot ,will they sell this meat ?

No ... if an animal dies on the farm, it has to be hauled away to the rendering plant. Especially if it died from trauma or disease.

(Stop reading here if you don’t want the gory details)

Steers are whacked (brain dead), hung up by the hind legs and their throats cut while the heart is still beating in order to pump as much blood as possible out of the carcass. That’s also why downer cows are such a problem. They have to be able to walk into the slaughter house on their own.

Also ... I foresee organic livestock production getting a boost (pardon the pun) from these shots.

Do you believe that livestock owners are knowingly giving shots that kill 20% of their herd?

Nothing is wasted. We don’t know what we are eating. We use to could see where something came from on canned foods, etc. Now it’s all combines with several countries so who due you sue if you get sick.

Meat or fresh foods coming in will be suspect. Even growing your own food, using anything but water (even water is suspect for me) could have whatever they want to put in that. Chicken feed. Animal medicines. We’re screwed.
