I don’t endorse it, I just accept it, since they have their own money stream (at the point of a gun, when necessary), so I just get surprised that others think they have any power over these people. They have virtually no power - school boards can pass symbolic measures, but teachers and administration simply ‘work around their rules’, when necessary to advance their agenda.

I think she was just doing what everyone else was doing...this was a school-sponsored events, and in some of the descriptions of these events, apparently the school “teaches” the children how to tip a drag queen. Incredible.

But I don’t think she expected to become part of the show.

And I don’t understand why these people aren’t charged, why the schools can get away with this, and why they would even have thought of it in the first place.

I live in FLorida, where DeSantis has been trying to defend us...but just yesterday a (Dem) judge halted the implementation of the new law preventing this type of thing. It’s a real battle that is going on now.
