When I first heard about the shooting I wondered if that was in your neck of the woods. 4 confirmed dead. My prayers go out to all the victims and their loved ones. So sad.
I had a scare yesterday. I was on the phone talking to my son, and suddenly my vision went blurry then completely white out. I thought I was having a stroke, had to hang up and had my son worried. My blood pressure was high, but my vision came quickly back and I didn’t have any other stroke symptoms. It happened again later when I was watching TV.
Now I’m thinking of all kinds of horrible things it could be.
Yup, my neck of the woods. There is a major highway going from somewhere southeast of Auburn, up to B’ham. Dadeville sits right on that highway, a quick 20 minute drive from my house.

In my mind it may be all kinds of things, none of them good. I just need to quit thinking as the stress will make things worse.
Could be a TIA, Very brief temporary stroke. Definitely get BP under control it is a good war ing sign. Stay calm and see your doc

It’s a peaceful morning here and for that blessing and so many others I am deeply thankful.
We are living in a time of turmoil and rampant evil but also a time of a returning to God.
He has given each of us our own calling and we are responding.
We were chosen for this time and He will always give us the grace and strength to follow His call and His will.
God, the Almighty, the Creator, loves each of us individually.
We are precious to Him.
He will never abandon us. He said so.
All praise to Him!

Not yet, I just fed Snickers some of her baby moose and she had her little claws caught in the towel I put on my lap. Seems like even the adult cats have that happen though. I’m so happy, she loves the baby food and when I took the spoon away to go get another helping, she meowed.
I bet they learn to retract them so they can keep eating from Mama though. I can’t imagine she would let them keep nursing if she was getting stabbed. Or actually maybe that’s why they transitioned to other food at 4 to 6 weeks. Oh speaking of which, I saw Twix eating some baby kibble. I try to keep some in a little bowl that they can reach, although Mama usually finishes it first before she starts on her big bowl. So I hope the others are watching and learn from twix.
