Storm chasers on the ground has turned into a menace. Not much in the way of actual useful information, it’s just adrenaline types that could just as well bungee jump. And they cause some ungodly car wrecks and traffic jams.

We looked forward to spring when I was a student at the University of Oklahoma. When tornado warnings were issued, three or four of us and a case of beer and we were off looking for the tornados. Oklahoma is so flat you can see them miles away.
