Georgia’s GOP-run legislature rejected a bill backed by Gov. Brian Kemp that could have allowed illegal migrants to get taxpayer grants for private schools.

Remember that Kemp was the first of the traitorous RINO governors that wanted the Afghans. The ones that destroyed the government facilities beyond repair when they were house at various military bases.
But he did opened Georgia after 2 weeks during covid. What a resume.
On a side note, Thank You to those Republicans in the legislature that blocked this. Hopefully they’ll finally see what a POS Kemp is and block more of his crap.
Their** ….. not they’re….my bad.
The problem is DNC voters voted in the GOP primary.
Sanity is alive and well in Georgia ... but apparently not for Democrats
It is against the law to aid and abet illegal aliens. You can’t even give them a ride in your car.
Now if they wanted to use taxpayer money to buy one-way bus tickets to the border, I’m good with that.
What’s wrong with Kemp?
Thank goodness there are a few Georgia legislators with a spine. How on earth could this fly-ridden pile of manure Kemp support giving taxpayer money to ILLEGAL CRIMINAL INVADERS? He is sure some anal orifice.
Yeah.
It’s time Americans stop kissing these so called “refugees’” asses. I’m seeing more and more of the freeloaders every time I go out in public. They don’t look like “refugees” to me. They look like party goers who are here only to take swings at the big piñata and vote for turd rollers in the Dung Beetle party.
Because we have open primaries. Their way of controlling who runs. Unless you have F You money and don’t need them. IE Donald J Trump
Same thing in SC. No reason for Graham and Scott to be sent back, but the voters only get to eat the sh*t sandwich served up by the RNC and state legislature
Everything
The provision of the bill to allow illegal immigrants to receive state grants (vouchers) for private schools was a “poison pill” inserted by the establishment wing of the state GOP to defeat what would otherwise have been a good school=choice initiative.
The GOPe is really good with introducing bills with a great name and portended goal of doing something which conservatives will agree that needs to be done. (The left is better at it, but the right uses that tactic as well). Then, if you look at the details, there is a provision which basically says, “The Fox will be in charge of the security protocols for the hen-house”.
One problem we have with local, state and federal laws, is that any proposed law is not actually about what the media says it is about (for Ex A, take a look at the proposed bills wanting to ban Tik-Tok). There is always provisions in each bill which makes legal an action that the left and right both have been campaigning for over the past few years, but couldn’t get passed due to too much objection by voters on both sides.
inserted by the establishment wing of the state GOP and KEMP.
That man is making it his mission to destroy this state.
I wonder how many folks actually understand how it all works with illegals and refugees and who pays the bills. Have to wonder how many do t realize that within a short time all of those expenses are forced onto the state taxpayer. The Fed’s are gone
You’re exactly right. Which is why the politicians do t do their jobs and being issues to their voters to get input.
For the politicians, it’s better to do everything in secret and then take some heat from the voters.
Did kemp ask the voters if they wanted to give $1.5billion to an EV company? Nope
There was a referendum on the primary ballot for continuing the movie credit. Haven’t seen the results. I can’t speak for many but I don’t know one person that is in favor of it and they’d all live to see the industry and all the oiberapw that came with it, leave Georgia tomorrow.
Georgia already spends $13,605 per pupil (including illegal immigrants) in public schools. The bill would have allowed parents to take roughly half this amount ($6,500) and use it to let their children attend the private school of their choice.
