On the night of March 31, the defender of Ukraine and four-time world kickboxing champion Vitaliy Merinov died in the hospital from his injuries.
Merinov was also the champion of Ukraine in universal combat and a master of sports in boxing. He also served as President of the Ivano-Frankivsk Boxing Federation.
The athlete went to war on the first day of a full-scale invasion. He received a gunshot wound in the leg, but after that he was able to recover and return to the front.
Merinov is survived by his wife and two-year-old daughter.
Looks like Joe is sitting sideways on a couch with his phone arm propped on the back of the couch.
It’s too bad the guy lost his life. I don’t know how long Ukraine can keep up what they are doing. Fighters are not allowed much time off the front lines. The wounded are patched up and sent back into battle as soon as possible. The shell shocked troops are sent back after 4 weeks of treatment. They basically fight on the front lines until they are killed or severely wounded. That has to be hard on even the toughest soldier.
Yes. That must be it.
Lol!
All gave some, some gave all ..
Wasted his life for an evil cause.
“I don’t know how long Ukraine can keep up what they are doing.”
Well put. The longer this war drags on, the harder it’ll get for Ukraine to replace their losses. Bastards like Putin don’t care how many of the Russian people have to die in order to achieve their victory.
VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!
Sadly, no. How many Americans died in WW 1? It was a cause not worth 1 of my countrymen. It was a setup, to prop up the big mistake that the Germans/Russians/Brits and French made. America entering, the Russians tipped out, and went home to a Revolution. The Brits wrote crushing sanctions on the Huns, and WW 2 was born.
What did he lose? The best fighting years of his life “for the man”? Respect of millions? Yes he did, and deservedly so. Another in a long line of self serving bastards that changed America for the worst. If he went, he would have been treated as a hero. He could have came back and told HIS truth. Instead, he refused to serve. He lost most of the population for that, but divided us further along black and white lines.
