Yes, I have heard that argument and don’t agree with it. To me the availability of adoption means surrogacy is unnecessary. But then I am a real purist and could not approve an invitro situation either, except when the sperm donor is the husband of the woman and invitro is being used because of some systemic problem hindering a pregancy to occur normally, and for no other reason.
I ask myself where is the real heart of some people when adoption is available and there are so many children available for adoption, and you can’t have a child naturally, why would you chose surrogacy?? I don’t get it.
