In Chicago African Americans are being massacred in endless gang-wars. It’s like a war zone. Truly sad.
In Russia though, it’s the Kremlin who destroys Russian lives. The Kremlin is the most big-government, the most deep-state organism ever conceived by man. They still rule Soviet-style.
You remember the outcry in the USA after the 2nd Irak war, when we lost +4000 US soldiers after ten years of fighting there?
Well... compare that to what Russia has lost in ONLY ONE YEAR (!) in its lawless and botched invasion of sovereign Ukraine: A quarter of a million Russians! Madness!
Precisely 220000 Russians sent in total illegality to Ukraine as cannon fodder.
All that to solely please the dreams of the uber-rich Kremlin politicians suffering from severe Soviet nostalgia.
So no, Its NOT safe to be a Russian today. They are slaughtered by their own Government!

I visited Moscow (and St Pete) back in ‘72 when it was still commie. I saw many young couples strolling around the downtown streets late at night with nobody worried about crime. Not sure what it’s like today though.
