We need help in identifying two stained glass windows, and we realized we know some smart folks who might help: YOU!
Both men have high - just below the knee - boots, and both contain a figure kneeling/requesting/appealing to the man.
I tried searching for a similar image and came up with nada.

I thought it was a joke (that I didn’t quite get).
Well, he hasn’t replied to my inquiry, but I give it a 50%+ chance of being correct. He certainly asserted it confidently.
Searching images of Houdini - he had NO mustache.
So it’s a joke - a pretty funny one, now that I get it :))
The moustache may be late 1800s, but the stained glass style is VERY modern.

I was of course joking about how a typical husband feels down deep in jest even though they would not trade it for anything different. My young bride and I are going on 38 years now. And being an honest person I have to say that there were indeed times it kind of felt like this but I would not have it any other way...
I was just joking about the symbolism... And many husbands would find the humor and truth in it.
Jesus is coming for His bride.
