Yes, you are correct, but it doesn’t cancel out the advice in my comment. Do NOT trust a grease monkey to bother to properly tighten your lug nuts, and use a torque wrench!
Absolutely. And checking lugnuts is always wise after a shop has had wheels off for tires, brakes, shocks, etc.
