Pepsi is introducing a new logo

(CNN) -- If someone were to ask you to draw the Pepsi logo from memory, what would you draw? A circle, perhaps, with the red, white, and blue stripes that are emblematic of the brand. The word "Pepsi," probably, in that globe.

When PepsiCo walks people through this exercise, as it sometimes does, that's what most do: They put the word "Pepsi" in the circle. But that's not how the current logo actually looks. The brand name is off to the side, a bit meek next to the iconic globe. So Pepsi is making a change.

I always drank Coke. I stopped drinking it about 4 or 5 years ago when they pissed me off about something. Once I’m gone, I NEVER go back.

I used to drink the 12 ounce Pepsis with real sugar. They switched to 7 ounce cans and jacked up the price. Now I get the 2 liter Green Label Dr Peppers with real sugar. Costs the same as the regular Dr Peppers when you can find them in the store (unlike the overpriced bottles). $2.28 for 2 liters at Walmart, or buy a 4 pack from Amazon for $12/bottle - $48.70 for the 4 pack. For that price, they must FedEx them from Frisco.

If I can’t find them and have to buy the HFCS, I just go with the RCs.

Kroger private label 2L bottles are $1.25 here in Memphis. Not great but acceptable.

Did you know Coca Cola Bottling of Atlanta runs their own private airline? Any politician anywhere they need to go. Frank Harris. Look for tail numbers that end in Foxtrot Hotel. Corporate jets mostly. A few Sikorsky Helicopters for direct access to outdoor sporting events. Usually Tan colored with red and green interiors. Complete with flight stewardesses, catering, and full bar.

I’ll drink Hosmer Mountain, Foxon Park or Avery’s before Coke or Pepsi. I love the small soda brands, even Moxie’s.

Same here. Recently, I named the starting lineups of the A’s, Orioles, Pirates and Reds from the 1970s without taking a breath. Today, I would struggle to name five MLB players.
