Thanks, but why choose such a brief description from a click bait site:

According to the Seattle Times, a 69-year-old woman was taken to Seattle’s Swedish Medical Center while experiencing seizures. Physicians initially thought she had a brain tumor.

They removed a section of brain tissue during an operation, and when they examined it, they made a terrifying discovery.

“When I operated on this lady, a section of her brain about the size of a golf ball was bloody mush,” neurosurgeon Dr. Charles Cobbs said in a phone interview. “There were these amoeba all over the place just eating brain cells.”

“We didn’t have any clue what was going on, but when we got the actual tissue we could see it was the amoeba.” It turned out that the amoeba had been literally devouring the patient’s brain for approximately a year.

There was one big question after her death: How did the amoeba get there? After all, brain-eating amoeba don’t normally turn up in the Pacific Northwest. In fact, her death was only the second of its kind on record. The answer turned out to be through a Neti pot. Instead of boiled or distilled water (which is what the Neti pot instructions specify), the woman used regular tap water....“The roof of the nose is one of the only parts of the human body where there’s a direct extension of the brain and central nervous system into the outside world,” (Harvard Medical School otolaryngologist Dr. Ben Bleier explained to Time).

Typically the premature death of anyone is a sad thing. However after seeing “climate change” in the article and reading a little further, I’d now say the Darwinian effect took hold on a lib. Or, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Cleaning sinuses is rather simple as I do it quite often without all the BS of nasal irrigation. It’s simple, use an OTC nasal spray which loosens things up, then just blow your nose into a kleenex. It takes less than five minutes.

Climate Change - Is there anything it can’t do?

Well we only have nine years left anyway, so that’s all she lost.

One woman dies of a very rare infection because of being somewhat careless, maybe the second time I have ever heard of this way of dying, and we have to be subjected to the climate change hysteria. Poor woman is not even cold yet and already they are using her as a martyr for a cause.

Tiny little article at the top of a trivial website with the infinite scrolling advertisements below. Make a ridiculous statement and where someone might comment and call you on your crap, hopefully you can distract them with some ads to tap on while they scroll and scroll and scroll looking for the comment section.

I’d rather be waterboarded that use one of those ‘nasal irrigation’ systems! Ugh!

She’s probably into having, ‘Colonic irrigation’ every month, too. Double-Ugh!

‘due to climate change’

They just toss that off now like it’s fact when it is literally the polar opposite.

Then they wonder why there is a ‘journalism’ crisis.

There’s no crisis. People just arrived at the notion that they have better ways to spend their money and time than on propaganda, and the people who manufacture it.

“due to climate change”

The author concluded this from channeling the excretions from the citizens of Uranus.

I have used nasal irrigation daily for years without a problem. However, I never use any water other than distilled or RO purified water. The directions on your neti pot or nasal irrigation machine are explicit that only distilled or purified water be used. Rather than climate change having anything to do with this incident blame idiocy. If you read the directions for virtually any electric appliance theses days, even TV sets, there are explicit warnings against using the appliance in the rain or in the shower or bathtub. One would think that it is common sense not to use any electric appliance in the rain or in the shower or bath, but these days not even a written warning is enough. It has been said that nothing can be made idiot proof and at best idiot resistant, because total idiots are very resourceful.

“Climate change” strikes again!

What about the fact that bacteria lives in water and using such bacteria-filled water to rinse out your nose will introduce deadly bacteria. Depending upon the location from which you obtain your water, some bacteria are more prevalent and deadly than others.

There is a reason people started becoming healthier after they started drinking hot tea. The water for the tea was boiled which killed the bacteria and therefore there was less bacteria-caused death. Only a few decades ago (relatively speaking) did people discover that all water sources were not exactly healthy, no matter how thirsty you were. People learned to drink upstream from the dead animals or the latrine’s location. The same goes for rising out your eyes or nose. Make sure you use distilled water should you need to take such actions.
