If Garland was angry about McConnell denying him a seat on the Supreme Court, he should be outraged with Joe Biden who established the only requirement for his first Supreme Court pick as being a “woman of color”. Biden could easily have renominated Garland. Democrats controlled the Senate with Harris’s vote, and it is conceivable a few bipartisan Republicans (Graham, Romney, Snow, Murkowski) would have supported Garland’s nomination to the Supreme Court by Biden.
The votes were in place to right the perceived wrong, but the leftist Democrat Biden chose someone else. What does that say about Merrick Garland? What does that say about the left?
That’s a good point. I can’t imagine that Garland is a very joyful person.
