Just read the article. This is BY NO MEANS the ‘Dumbest Player in History’ any more than any other player who missed a couple of answers. I really don't get why the Post would single her out like this.

They aren’t saying she’s dumb because she got easy questions wrong. They are saying she had a huge lead that was more than four times what the remaining questions were worth, and she bet almost half of it on a Daily Double. She could have assure herself, or virtually assured herself a victory if she didn’t do that.

It’s bizarre that she was singled out, but the reason they’re calling her dumb is that she had clinched the game, if only she didn’t make a big bet.

I agree. Anyway, clogging one’s brain with useless trivia has nothing to do with intelligence.

People that can consistently win these trivia quiz shows are freaks, if you ask me.

That was the first jeopardy episode I’d watched in months. She was ultra greedy and made an incredibly dumb error.
