In the time it took you to post, you traveled through time.

But, I didn't really travel in time. I stood still and time passed. Time cannot pass backwards, or faster than it currently does. We're just along for the ride, which is no ride at all.

We cannot go off into the future and wait for everything/everyone else to catch up.

And, we can't go back to the past, and the evidence is there, because, nobody or nothing has ever come to the past (the current present) to prove it.

Traveling in time would mean resetting the entire universe to a specific time with exactly everything exactly as it was at that time, in order to make it happen. Wormholes or any other theory won't provide the answer.

For example, in the famous Gravity Probe B experiment, scientists used four ultra-precise gyroscopes to measure the effects of Earth’s gravity on the flow of time. The experiment confirmed predictions from general relativity with incredible precision, showing that the flow of time is affected by gravity in the exact way that Einstein’s theory predicted.

Overall, the extensive experimental evidence confirms that Einstein’s theory of relativity accurately describes the behavior of time and space in a wide range of physical situations.

In addition, general relativity predicts the existence of “closed time-like curves,” which are paths through space-time that loop back on themselves, potentially allowing for time travel. However, it is important to note that these closed time-like curves are purely theoretical and have not been observed in the real world.

Einstein himself was skeptical about the possibility of time travel and believed that it would likely remain in the realm of science fiction. Nevertheless, the theoretical possibility of time travel under certain conditions is a consequence of his theory of relativity.
