That being said, we know President Trump....warts and all! He still has a huge base of republicans, former democrats and independents. He also has black and hispanic support. He has that star power and it shows at his rallys. They are electrifying.
Now Governor Desantis, We know he has been great for the state of Florida. Will he appeal to the general voting population? I have my doubts.

This week DeSantis basically took himself out as a serious candidate. Perhaps he figured that Trump would be jailed, and therefore he would be the DEFAULT CANDIDATE...with Republican voters not having any better choice.
Here’s the problem for him: It’s March 2023, not March 2024, there are PLENTY of other Republicans who will step and fill the vacuum left by Trump if the NeverTrumpers (Ukraine War supporters) are able to dispose of Trump, and there is PLENTY OF TIME for them to do so.
At this point, first see what happens with Trump, as he’s now the runaway favorite for the nomination, but if the Leftist are somehow able to take him out, look for others, including that Indian guy, and probably your man, RAND, himself, to throw his hat in.
As of now, I’m with Rand, if Trump isn’t available. Rand has the instincts needed to try to save what’s left of the country, given the HORRIFIC DAMAGE done to it by the Neocons, in particular.

Meanwhile, Trump actually endorsed BOTH McCain and Romney in their elections for the Senate, so according to the Trump supporters who think no one can win without Trump’s endorsement, I guess we have Trump to blame for them being Senators their last few terms.

Trump donated $100,000+ to the Clinton Foundation while Obama was POTUS. 2009 is not ancient history. Nobody with conservatism in their DNA does that. It’s clear to me now that policy is just not that important to Trump. He’s an entertainer who wants to be the center of attention.
So even if Trump were to miraculously win in 2024 we would just get more garbage bills from Congress signed by Trump, massive spending, amnesty, etc. But the Only Trumpers have Trump loving eyes and will never see what is so obvious.
Trump publicly invited Bruce Jenner to use the women’s bathrooms at Trump Tower. He’s not a fighter for real women.
