That Wikipedia article is a lie. Even the commas and periods are lies. Take the time to learn what really happened to Armstrong when he refused to turn his program over to the CIA so they could manipulate global financial markets. It was similar to the theft of the PROMIS software decades ago by CIA, except that the creators of PROMIS weren't sent to prison.

Armstrong was jailed for contempt of court, not for the legal term of 18 months, but for years. He was not convicted of anything. He was beaten and almost murdered in prison. It was only when the Supreme Court looked into his treatment that the corrupt judges in the New York federal courts let him go.

One thing that Armstrong learned from his experience is that the bankers own the courts in New York. They form a club, and he wasn't a member. They altered the transcript of his trial, and the New York papers, also parties to the corruption, wouldn't report what was being done to him.

You need to stop taking Wikipedia as gospel.
