They [shoes] really aren’t [the same]. Those flames are made of reflective plastic printed on the shoe, that’s why in the hallway camera - which uses IR to highlight dark areas - reflects off of the piece, but the body cam, which does not use IR, makes it more clear because of lack of reflection

It didn’t look dark in the building and as far as I know most cameras only switch to IR mode in a dark room.
