Hysterical!!!
This happens all the time. Especially when money gets tight. Insurance fraud is rampant with a lots of opportunist in the mix as well.
There’s an idea..All criminals post their crimes on YouTube and save the cops a lot of legwork.........They could solve the crimes in 30 minutes flat.....
This is pretty common in the Indian immigrant population. A few decades ago while taking my kid out for driving instruction, I warned him to be careful at traffic lights because Indians slam their brakes on so you back end them to collect insurance. To my surprise he said, “Mom everybody knows that”.
You are in good hands with Allstate.
In Memphis the pastors in the churches have professional accident teachers come in and give classes on how to get into an accident that gets you a big settlement along with who to target into hitting you. (Yes the black churches)
Which Indians? Dot or feather?
My wife was almost a victim of “swoop and stupe.” The bad guy will suddenly speed up and get in front of your car and hit the brakes hoping you hit them. He screwed up and hit the embankment. My wife stopped to make sure he was okay, that was unwise. He then filed a claim against our insurance. He of course had a car full of victims. My wife explained to the insurance company what happened. The insurance company politely told the bad guy in legalize to kiss their ass.
Beginning to think that dash cameras are a worthwhile investment.
