That’s nothing. The Defense Department hasn’t passed an audit in years. Right now, the Pentagon cannot account for $2.5 trillion. A trillion here and a trillion there and pretty soon you are talking REAL money.
To all of these gangsters, it’s just numbers in a computer.
I think we could understand small amounts as a rounding error.
But 3.5 billion is way too large to be a rounding error.
I am puzzled though because I took Accounting 101, and I learned that the debits must equal the credits. The balance sheet must balance. It is not optional.
And to think this guy is a CPA.
Not to jump to conclusions but it makes you wonder if this guy was embezzling money somehow.
