I’m perfectly happen to go pick up my own food at the counter and take it to my table. There’s no need for waiters / waitresses. All they do is add more unneeded cost to the ticket for their tip and then i have to sit there waiting for them to come around when i need the check or a refill.
Honestly, this seems like a profession that could be easily eliminated from society. These people should be happy they can make decent money for an unskilled position. I’m not saying it’s an easy job. I worked a lot of restaurants when i was younger. But it offers a decent wage to those without degrees or special training. They should be grateful.
