OK. I've got a Pi running 24/7 with 2 external drives hooked up to it. It's running plex media server, and I've got it connected up to my Roku box wirelessly.
My next major purchase for this system will be a NAS, just so I don't have to connect the drives to the Pi directly.

I had trouble with external HDDs on my Pi, even using a powered usb3 hub. Works great with an external SSD, so I probably just need a better PS than the little CanaKit one on the Pi now. How adequate is the Pi for 2 or 3 simultaneous movies playing? I’d like to move my Emby server to it.
