sad thing is —dont get me wrong here, i am not the brightest bulb in the marquee— they wouldnt hire me because I “would get bored” and quit. That would be the justification after they read my resume’. I’ve been handed that excuse many times.
I got that when applying for an $8 factory job in the mid 70s; ended up getting a retail job for half that.
