Exactly right. These protests need to be big, law abiding, and those participating in them need to protect themselves.
All the tips in Laz's post need to be adhered to in regards to leaving cellphones @ home, disguising one's face, not engaging / being baited into participating in unlawful behavior and I'd add not speaking to the media AT ALL.
Be respectful of law enforcement, wear a body cam/recording device to capture all interactions, and again - do not engage in any unlawful actions whatsoever.
If you see something even bordering on unlawful - get the hell away from it. Don't get snared.
