They were not independent. They were seized by the Red Army, their government was replaced with Russians from Moscow, and they were annexed into the Russian Empire.

But since you like independence when will Russia be leaving Chechnya and honoring their independence?

NO country or people ever…I mean since the birthplace of civilization have murdered, raped and destroyed indiscriminately as the Mongolian horsemen.

The worlds population has risen always, thorough climate change, famines, floods and the like with 2 exceptions. 10,000+ years and 2 exceptions:
Black Death of Eurasia
Mongol Expansion

It’s fine to hate Russia and to say they are bad but it’s not accurately in the slightest to say they are worse than Temujin’s bunch.

So basically evil America, the great satan.

Those are your words -- not mine.

The intent of that post was to point out the absolute hypocrisy of our so-called leaders -- and over many, many years.

We are being manipulated by deep-state and political messaging from many sources to claim that what the Russians are doing is acting like a mad tyrant.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Here are a few reasons why Russia is threatened by our aggression....

-doubled the size of NATO in 20 years
-placed missiles directly on the countries bordering Russia
-launched a color revolution in Ukraine in 2014 to "regime change"
-Made agreements to solve Ukrainian crises -- but reneged on those agreements (Minsk accords)
-Western leaders admitted that the Minsk accords were nothing more than a delay tactic with no intent to comply
-launched clandestine color revolutions globally to regime change sovereign countries (Georgia, Iran, Chili, Venezuela, Egypt, Lybia, Syria, Arab Springs and many more)
-Color Revolution in Taiwan
-Threatened China over Taiwan -- a part of China

So, please tell me, if you were Putin and saw all of the above take place and did not expect a Russian regime change or invasion by the west (US), what would you do? I can answer that. The same as we did by invading all those sovereign countries.

That's the rule -- not the exception.

If you want to make an intelligent decision, you want accurate facts -- not the propaganda and blatant lies fed us by our so-called leaders.

Because by taking only parts of countries, like South Ossetia, Transnistra or the Donbas, then freezing in the conflict, russia prevents Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, respectively from joining the EU and/or NATO, and thus finally freeing themselves fully from russia, their historic colonial overlord, without having to expend the resources to subjugate and pacify those entire nations completely and turning them into new Afghanistans for itself. Just turns out the Ukrainians got sick of being pushed around, and punched the bully back.

Either you are a liar, or too stupid to read and understand History. Eastern and Southern Ukrainians disenfranchised by a Revolution, seceded, creating independent Republics (Crimea voting for Russian annexation). What part of Revolution do you not understand? Do You think disenfranchised voters are compelled to follow Revolutionaries? Do they not have a right to choose their Governance and their allies? You may have kids who will die in a coming war to further the overthrow of Ukrainian Democracy and make Ukraine safe for LGBTQI New World Order Governance. Does that excite you?

If Ukrainian Leadership (or Western Leadership) were interested in peace, they would have let the disenfranchised secede. But they won’t because this is about furthering the NWO.

Ukraine was invaded in 2014 in the course of a cowardly sneak attack by Russian forces pretending to be “Little Green Men”.

Full stop.

The explanations for the invasion only came later.

You do a horrible disservice to the name of Jan Sobieski by using that name in the service of your masters in Russia. He fought for freedom and you serve Putin.

Have you no shame?

Perhaps then they should have agreed to what Putin was asking for and NATO would not be in this quagmire.

That's not how aggressive countries work, and Russia has been an aggressor since, forever.

They were looking for the slightest excuse that they could find, but they used the NATO card as their excuse, but NATO or not, Putin was going to invade. What excuse did Putin use to take over Crimea? NATO? Nope! They were going to do it anyway. Georgia? What excuse did they use there.

IOW, wake up and smell the aggression and the imperialist desires of Putin.

“No need for link. Putin has said many times, and he’s been quoted many times. Look it up!”

So you’re pulling it from your Neocon talking points, I assume, since he NEVER said either. That’s why I asked you to BACK UP what you claimed.

For others, here are his lies again:

“He didn’t consider NOT INVADING, and only considered taking over Ukraine”

“so, his goal has been to reconstitute the old USSR”

“That’s not how aggressive countries work, and Russia has been an aggressor since, forever.

So has EVERY ONE of our NATO allies, including ourselves.

Again, all NATO had to do was AGREE to Russia’s request, and the 85% of the world that is NOT sanctioning Russia may well have joined the Neocons, had Russia still invaded.

Here's a hint from one of the links:

"Calling the collapse of the USSR the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century” is one of his most-quoted (and most misunderstood) historical judgments."

All you have to do is find it. ;)

There is no need to provide links to the stories as they have been posted multiple times on this site and in discussions you have participated. Most people have already accepted this, but you're either engaging in 'selective memory' or your two functioning brain cells have decided not to play the game of pass the electron this morning.

Have you been to Crimea, liar? You talk to Crimeans? They wanted the Russians to come in and bring peace after the Revolution. Additionally they voted to be a part of Russia. Why? Because they believe the Euromaiden Revolution was wrong. You ever been to Eastern Ukraine? Talk to Eastern Ukrainians? I have many times. They did not want a Revolution, but it was forced upon them. Since 2014 they have responded.

Speaking of shame, My only shame is having historically illiterate credulous liars as countrymen who lift not a finger to stop the communist Globohomo takeover of America because they’re too busy waving Ukrainian and LGBTQI flags. Perhaps your sons and daughters will be drafted to fight for the cause?!

“All you have to do is find it.”

I agree he said that, but when did he call to “to reconstitute the old USSR”?

The point is that he has no interest in doing so, and never said he did. For example, the last thing he wants, in my opinion, are managing the places that hate Russia, which includes Western Ukraine and the Baltics...and BOTH were part of the Soviet Union. Probably the same for the Central Asian Republicans.

“There is no need to provide links to the stories as they have been posted multiple times on this site and in discussions you have participated.”

So your claim is that if you keep posting THE SAME LIES here, they somehow become true?

By the way, in case anyone is wondering what these lies are, here they are (again):

“He didn’t consider NOT INVADING, and only considered taking over Ukraine”
“so, his goal has been to reconstitute the old USSR”

The point is that he has no interest in doing so, and never said he did.

Actions speak louder than words, although he has indicated that he wants the old USSR back in place.

And, his actions include taking Crimea and invading Ukraine and strong-arming other neighboring countries into his sphere of influence. His neighboring countries fear Russia, and even territories inside the Russian federation hint at splitting away.

Russia has been a bully and that's undeniable.
