It's too bad Caine wasn't young enough to play Flashman when the book first came out. But considering how much of a disaster "Royal Flash" with Malcolm McDowell was maybe it's for the best.
Still wish they'd make a movie faithful to the first book. No idea who could pull off the eponymous character today though.
