Irish nationalism is an anomaly. While left wing nationalism is supposed to be "civic" and not ethnic, Irish Republicanism is pretty darned ethnic and has been for centuries. Hence their promotion of Gaelic. Yet as contemporary Commies they advocate filling Ireland with third worlders. The Anglo-Saxon defiles the sacred soil with a single foot but all the third worlders in the world can be imported and the self-proclaimed heirs of Padraig Pearse will support it.

They're also extremely anti-American and advocate open borders for the US but are conveniently on an island.
