If gangs are really as powerful as they say, and El Salvador President is really arresting gangland members in such great numbers - then wouldn’t he have a civil war on his hands?
Actually I was wondering something. Which country was it that would not take back some illegals who were either in the MS 13 or 18 gang while Trump was in office? Trump asked how much aid we give them then cut it off pronto. With in days that country had those illegals back in.
I’m wondering if it was this country because it took several years to build a prison that massive. Even if it’s not the same country, it could be this country does not want aid cut off to them.
and yes these are gangs who were arrested, look at their tattoos which they have all over their bodies. These fools were stupid enough to advertise it from head to toe.
It wouldn’t last long. When I left El Salvador, the gangs outnumbered the military. But that doesn’t translate into war-making capabilities— only instability, which they over-indulged since the last Mano Duro II operation that was short-lived.
Also, all the gang members are tatted up, unable to hide like the guerrillas did in the El Salvadorian civil war. They are loathed by mainstream society, so there is no where to hide in a small country.
Lastly, both conservative and liberals abandoned their mainstream parties (ARENA and FMLN) to elect an outsider because neither of them did anything except submarine each other in the General Assembly to prevent progress in public safety.
Civil war?!?!?
