There was a line of dialog in “Zorro The Gay Blade” I think should apply here. It was spoken by The Evil Alcalde. “I have always depended on other people being nicer than me and I have NEVER been disappointed.” I realize that all of the potential outcomes I can imagine would get the perpetrator arrested and prosecuted. But if only ONE person did any of those things, it would doubtless end the concept of someone chaining or gluing their bodies to anything.
