Hell, the Ukrainian people TRIED to avoid it. The elected Z over Poroshenko 73% to 24%. Poroshenko was the face of the ethnic cleansing and pressing the war in the Donbass. Z ran on a platform of executing Minsk 2 and stopping the artillery war.
