Fortunately, we don’t have flying skunks around here.

I live in Larimer county and my neighbors have a bunch of chickens. So far they seem to be very healthy.
I guess I’ll have to keep an eye on them.

I’ve seen quite a few dead skunks on the side of the road lately.
Must be chicken flu.
Definitely not killed by cars because this is the time of year they cross the road a lot.

I haven’t heard that in years, but every time I see or smell a skunk, that song comes to mind.
He sounds a lot like Don McLean.

I guess he needed more than the Skunk song to have a brisk career.
That said, the Dead Skunk song is timeless because the skunks still stink and they still are seen flattened in the middle of roads.
People can still relate to that. Heh

Was this under the flight path of one of those “Chinese Weather Balloons” we’ve been hearing about?

At the time it was one of his three new LPs on my shelf I thought he was a Bob Dylan imitator.
Side note.
His son Rufus Wainwright said his father never accepted him for being gay. Rufus once did a Judy Garland at Carnegie Hall full stage show tribute dressed in her outfit including Danskin black pantyhose and makeup.
NME article entitled Rufus Wainwright says he and father Loudon “almost killed each other”
“I wish I was speaking figuratively but it was pretty hairy at times”
