I’m thinking that shorter men could compensate by working out and getting very muscular.

“working out and getting very muscular.”

Some short guys overdo it to compensate—but in moderation it is a good idea.

I’m thinking that shorter men could compensate by working out and getting very muscular.

And I'm thinking that fugly women could compensate by "always smiling."

That's at best a band-aid.

A slender figure enhances height (it's an optical illusion). Conversely, body-building will tend to make a person appear shorter.

Regards,
